The speedy utility man, who will man shortstop to start the season while Matt Duffy (heel) completes his recovery, finished spring with a .327 average, five doubles, two triples, one home run and 11 RBI. If his body of work during the exhibition slate is any indication, Beckham may be ready to take the next step in his development in 2017.
